Susan Panelli is the General Manager of Comms and Technology for Sky Racing (Tabcorp) in Sydney, Australia.  She is an articulate and creative professional with over 25 years experience applying technology to business needs. For the past 14 years, Susan has been in a senior management role where she has an established track record in product delivery. Susan is an inspiring and dynamic leader that actively applies integrity and persistence in working toward short and long-term personal and professional goals.  She has focused experience in project mobilization and project recovery with a solid understanding of project delivery life cycle and software development lifecycle and methodologies.     As a key member of the Sr. Management team, I was responsible for the delivery of new products to FOXTEL's 2.2 million subscribers. Critical accountabilities included: - Merged multiple diverse groups to form the Product Delivery team for FOXTEL to include; Integration Engineering, Product Technology, Broadcast Management Systems, Test, and Project Management Office. - Provided strategic management and direction to the Product Delivery team in order to streamline operations and reduce operating costs and overhead. - Interfaced with internal clients and external vendors to develop and maintain organizational strategies while increasing technical efficiency.- Embodied a Process Improvement Framework coupled with Operational Change to create a collaborative team supporting Foxtel'€™s newest capabilities around IP Delivery and traditional Set Top Box deployments. - Refactored failing programmes and projects by utilizing proven project methodologies and using best practices for implementation of hardware and software systems.

    As Director of Services; my key responsibilities focused on the end-to-end customer implementations of Irdeto's broadband content management solutions in North America and Asia Pacific. Critical accountabilities and accomplishments include: - Defined and refined the vision and strategy for the Program Office for North America and Asia Pacific. - Lead, support, and mentor the Integration Engineering team members through configuration, implementation, and launch of the Irdeto suite of products. - Increased sales and customer satisfaction in the Asia Pacific region through successful account management and product/project delivery. - Responsible for career planning, mentoring, and daily workload balancing for the team. - Principal resource responsible for the software development, implementation, and deployment for the following key accounts: - Australian Broadcaster:€“ Video on Demand (VOD), Pay Per View (PPV) implementation, including consumer management and Monetization Services - Integration with the XBOX game platform working closely with 3rd party vendors in support of our ingest, manage, and distribution model for digital content management. - Vancouver Olympics: Integration with Akamai, web CMS, and customer internal systems to support 24/7 live streaming for the Olympics. - Norwegian Broadcaster: In house Video on Demand (VOD) solution. - US Broadcast Stations: Local broadcast station implementations including, integration with web CMS solutions for streaming free content and content distribution to various mobile devices.

    Responsibilities included management and implementation of Wells Fargo tier 1 and 2 cross-functional projects. Sr. Lead Project Manager responsible for the implementation of a Multi-Currency Account (MCA) system to be used within the bank to support the management of varying currencies within Institutional banking. This new application supported the bank’s foreign offices as their Branch Management Software. Critical accountabilities and accomplishments included: - Co-manage project budget of $21MM. - Successful procurement, implementation, and configuration of 2 new midrange systems (IBM iSeries). - Successfully lead all aspects of the MCA project from business impacts to technical infrastructure and build. - Responsible for conducting business impact meetings with Wells Fargo lines of business. - Accountable for defining and documenting the project conversion strategy that will minimize customer risk and maximize system efficiencies. - Responsible for project focused vendor management.

    Implemented the Project Management Office infrastructure and strategy for Institutional Brokerage and Sales. Leading a team of 10 resources, we worked closely to refine the Project Management methodology used within IBS. Defined and implemented a Business Analysis methodology to support the role of the Business Analysts to include requirements gathering, testing protocols, and implementation management. Served as liaison between business and technical teams to define business requirements. Critical accountabilities and accomplishments included: - Defined the vision and strategy for IBS’ Project Management Office. - Led the Sr. Manager Project Prioritization Review Committee to evaluate project prioritization, review project pipeline, and assign resources for 30+ staff. - Manage department budget of $1MM and Project budget of $2MM working closely with other Wells Fargo Lines of Business. - Member of a 6-person Leadership Steering Committee for IBS. - Successfully managed over 35 large-scale projects exceeding $10 million in revenue. - Architected a Capacity Planning tool for use within the IBS’ PMO & IT groups for better management of resources and defining metrics for reporting to senior management. - Responsible for career planning, performance appraisals, and daily workload balancing. - Leader and mentor to team members outside of my reporting team.
